The Youth Initiative that works with 50 young men and women on gaining the retail trade skills to enable them to prosper in this field in the future. The trainees receive financial incentives and are recruited by the Buhajar group after they graduate until they find other jobs. We are currently seeking new ways to expand this program to accommodate a larger number of trainees.
Living in a decent home is one of the simplest needs of the low income families that cannot be neglected. Therefore, we have started a project where we have repaired and reconstructed the houses of needy families prior to the outbreak of war in Libya, and it is still ongoing even after the war.
We distribute decent clothes to the low income families.
Since we believe in the importance of education, we support the students in need by paying their tuition fees.
We cover the Umrah costs for the people in need.
We work with specific schools where we provide them with healthy meals and free physical education classes
A special sports center has been created to suit the abilities of the disabled. We have also started a large scale rehabilitation program in collaboration with a group of foundations.
Since 1963, we have been hosting an annual Ramadan feast. We also work alongside with hotels and wedding venues to ensure that excess food is distributed to the low income families by respecting their dignity.
The individuals who meet all the conditions for benefiting from the Buhajar Foundation are requested to complete the allocated forms in order for the foundation to contact them wherever they are in Libya.
